You can have everything BYLDR holds about you permanently deleted. You don't need an account, you don't need a reason, and there's no charge. Here's exactly how.

• Your contact form enquiry — name, business, email, phone and message
• Your project brief, if you used "Start from scratch"
• Your audit submission — the website address, the scan results and the contact details attached to it
• Our email correspondence with you
• Any notes we made while quoting your project

03How long it takes

We confirm receipt as soon as we see the request, and complete the deletion within 30 days. You'll get an email confirming it's done. If your request covers something we are legally required to keep, we'll tell you specifically what, why, and for how long.

04What we may have to keep

If you have been a paying client, Australian tax and business law requires us to retain financial records — invoices, payment records and signed agreements — generally for seven years. That's the only category we can't delete on request. Everything else goes.

Deleting your data ends the conversation: if you later want to work with BYLDR, you'd start a fresh enquiry.

05Data held by other platforms

Some information sits with services BYLDR uses rather than with us directly. We delete our copy on request, and here's how the rest works:

• Netlify hosts the site and stores form submissions. Deleting the submission removes it from that store.
• Facebook and Instagram hold any messages or comments you sent us on their platforms, under their own policies. You can delete your own messages and activity from within those apps, and request deletion from Meta directly through their settings. We delete our side on request.
• Your browser stores the theme preference (byldr-theme) locally. We never receive it — clearing your browser storage removes it immediately.

06Your other rights

Deletion isn't the only option. You can also ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to stop using it for a particular purpose. Same address, same 30 days.
